Integra Type-R Sells For RECORD Price

A 1997 Acura Integra Type-R broke a record when it sold at auction today. At the 11th Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction this extremely low-mileage example of 90’s Japanese nostalgia sold for a record $63,800- including buyers premium. With only 1,191 original miles, the Integra appears to have come straight out of a time capsule. It’s both an exciting and frustrating time for a golden era JDM enthusiast like myself. Exciting to see these cars get the respect I feel they deserve. And frustrating that I never purchased an unmolested version when they were reasonably priced.

If you’re reading my blog you already know how special of a car this is so I’ll save you the reading. But definitely have a peek at photos of the car below.
